My Self-Guided Walking Tours
These are audio tours which I have researched, written, mapped and photographed for you.
For now Inverness is my only offering (see button below), but it will be joined by others over the winter of 2026.
In current jargon I think it is fair to say that these are curated tours because, although I will not be there with you in person on these tours, I am there in other ways. I'll be there in the written descriptions, and in the audio, and especially in spirit!
Whether chatting about culture and battles, unveiling dark legends and spooks, or just sharing knowledge of the best and friendliest places to eat and drink, there’s nothing I like better than introducing you to the “off the beaten track” treasures for your pleasure.
You get to enjoy the walk at your own pace. Pause where you want. Enter a visitor attraction if you wish. Have a meal, or maybe just a wee stop for a drink at an atmospheric hostelry. Then pick up the story again, whenever you’re ready. The audio will uncover each stop when you need it. No crowds, just you, me and the stories.
