City to City Inverness to Oban
This City-to-City Tour departs Inverness, and we begin traveling down world-famous Loch Ness. We’ll keep an eye out for Nessie (better known as the Loch Ness Monster). There will be time for a photo stop at the iconic ruins of Urquhart Castle. Time for a walk or coffee stop at the very pretty village of Fort Augustus. In good weather we can combine a photo of the Commando Memorial with a view of the highest mountain in the United Kingdom – Ben Nevis, and then we pass through Fort William. We detour next, to ensure you don’t miss the incomparable scenery of Glencoe, and then continue down the coast, stopping at Castle Stalker viewpoint. This castle featured in Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Finally we reach the bustling west coast ferryport of Oban.
