Dunrobin Castle and Dornoch Tour
Dunrobin Castle (with daily falcon flying demonstration) is the opulent home of the Dukes of Sutherland, often called the largest “Great House” in the north. It lies north of Inverness, close to two ancient and beautiful towns in the vicinity; Dornoch and Tain. There, we see Dornoch Cathedral, and the Viking gravestones at Tain. Glenmorangie Distillery is an afternoon option (must be booked in advance), or perhaps a visit to the salmon leap at the spectacular Falls of Shin.
