Four-Day Outlander Tour
The Four-Day Outlander Tour is the three-day tour ending in Edinburgh (described previously), with a fourth day added.
Day one: Clava Cairns, Culloden, Clanlands Exhibition (if open), Beauly Priory, Hairy Coos, photo stop at Castle Leod, and a 1700’s weapons demonstration.
Day two: photo stop - Loch Ness & Urquhart Castle, Five Sisters of Kintail, St Kilda ruined church, Glenelg Brochs, landfall on Isle of Skye, return by Loch Garve.
Day three: Highland Folk Museum, Craigh na Dun, Black Watch monument, town of Falkland doubling for Inverness in the filming, end in Edinburgh.
The additional (or fourth) day is Edinburgh to Edinburgh, and includes all the major filming sites – Lallybroch (Midhope), Fort William (Blackness Castle), Castle Leoch (Doune Castle), Culross (Cranesmuir).
